KUALA LUMPUR: Based on unofficial results, Pakatan Harapan’s candidate Datuk Seri Idris Haron loses to Barisan Nasional’s candidate Fairul Nizam Roslam in N.10 Asahan.

As at 8.48pm, Idris polled 2,330 votes, trailing Fairul garnered 4,801 votes. Meanwhile, Perikatan Nasional’s Dhanesh Basil is in third place with 1,129 votes.

Three other Independent candidates are set to lose their deposits in the six-cornered contest.

Barisan won the Asahan seat with a majority of 275 seats in GE14.
